New Rhythm of Work: Adapting People, Cadence, and Culture for the AI Shift
AI is supposed to make work easier—but many leaders are experiencing the opposite. This session names the underlying issue leaders feel but struggle to diagnose: AI is changing the shape of work faster than teams are updating how they coordinate, decide, and protect focus. When old rhythms stay the same, even powerful tools can create friction instead of leverage.
How AI Agents Actually Get Work Done
AI agents are moving fast: from simple automations to systems that can run real work. But most teams are stuck choosing between flashy demos and opaque black boxes. This session focuses on how agentic workflows actually operate in practice and why that matters for speed, reliability, and scale. You’ll see how modern AI agents are designed and orchestrated inside real workflows, with accessible tools like Zapier or n8n.
What “Good at AI” Actually Looks Like
Most organizations say “AI skills matter,” but few can clearly define what competence actually looks like - let alone measure it in a way that informs hiring, development, or performance. This session gives leaders a practical framework for defining AI competencies by role and level, without turning it into a buzzword-heavy skills taxonomy. We’ll focus on observable behaviors, decision quality, and real work outcomes without adding more to already-taxed teams.
We add new events on a quarterly basis - so stay tuned!

Why We’re Passionate About Creating Equal Access to AI Education
We believe in investing in people - not just companies. Startup leaders, especially women, face unique challenges in today’s workplace. Consider these facts:
Women earn 83 cents for every dollar earned by men.
There’s a 10% gender gap in generative AI adoption between men and women.
Professionals with AI skills earn 11% more than their peers.
The purpose of the AI Learning Journey is to narrow these gaps, shaping a more equitable workplace. The future of work is already here, and with the right tools, it can be brighter, fairer, and more rewarding for everyone.

StartupExperts is an invite-only community of experienced HR, Finance, and Ops leaders who understand that while we tend to be “teams of one” or leaders of small teams at individual companies, we all regularly encounter the same business challenges and believe that collectively we are stronger when we support each other. As a community of professionals we are passionate about learning, we want to build deeper relationships with our peers, and most importantly we find personal satisfaction in giving to others.
